ALBANY, N.Y. -- The
University at Albany remains ranked in the 2012 Penn Monto/NFHCA
Division I National Coaches' Poll, as announced by the National Field
Hockey Coaches Association on Tuesday. The Great Danes stand at #21 in
the country after splitting two road games at Missouri State and #13 Iowa.
UAlbany, which
defeated Missouri State, 3-0, on Friday, has now been nationally ranked since
the first week of the 2010 season. The Great Danes dropped one spot
from last week. America East Conference rivals Boston U. (12th) and New Hampshire (16th) are also ranked in the national poll.
The Great
Danes face two nationally-ranked opponents this week. UAlbany will host
