Claudio opened her season with finsihing sixth in the 4x800m relay at the Shamrock invitational. In the 4x400m relay she placed second in both the Northeast Challenge and the Spring Challenge. Claudio finished in third place int he 800m run at the Spring Classic.

800m: 2:09.4Claudio opened the outdoor season at the Shamrock Invitational, where she placed second in the 800m in 2:12.24. She placed second in the 800m again at Connecticut’s Northeast Challenge, crossing the line in 2:15.75. She won the 800m in 2:18.41 at UAlbany’s Spring Classic, where she also placed second as a member of the 4x400m relay. At the Penn Relays, Claudio split 2:09.07 in the 4x800m relay, helping her team place fourth in the college division. Claudio recorded the fastest split of the race. At the America East Outdoor Championships, Claudio placed second in the 800m in 2:12.06, after running 2:11.01 in the preliminary round. She also placed first as a member of the 4x800m relay team, earning a split of 2:13.0 en route to a team finish of 9:04.36. Claudio placed third in the 800m in 2:11.27 at UAlbany’s Purple & Gold Last Chance Meet, before ending her season at ECAC Outdoor Championships, where she set a season-best mark in the 800m, placing 15th in 2:09.41.
Claudio opened the season at the Penn State Nittany Lion Challenge, where she placed fourth in the 800m in 2:12.58, surpassing the personal-best time she set during the previous outdoor season. She also placed fourth as a member of the distance medley relay team, splitting 56.9 for the 400m leg. After running her first ever collegiate 1,000m at Cornell’s Upstate Challenge, Claudio placed 20th and 21st in the 800m and 500m respectively at the Armory Track Invitational. She set a season-best time of 2:09.82 in the 800m at Boston University’s Valentine Invitational, placing 13th overall. At the America East Indoor Championships, Claudio placed second in the 800m in 2:10.58, first as a member of the 4x800m relay, and fourth as a member of the distance medley relay. Claudio placed eighth in the 800m in 2:12.41 at Boston University’s Last Chance Meet to end her season.
Claudio only competed in the UAlbany XC Invitational, where she finished the 5K course in 20:46.7.
Claudio opened the season at the Spring Break Classic in Puerto Rico, where she placed third in the 800m in 2:15.75, and first as a member of the 4x400m relay. She placed third in the 800m again at the dual meet against Colgate, crossing the line in 2:20.49. She also placed first as a member of the 4x400m relay for the second consecutive meet. She earned a third consecutive 4x400m victory at the Upstate Classic. She placed second in the 800m in 2:14.95 at UAlbany’s Spring Classic, and placed first on the 4x400m relay for the fourth consecutive meet. Competing in the college division of the 4x800m relay at the Penn Relays, Claudio split 2:14.42 en route to a team finish of 8:51.90 to place second overall. At the America East Outdoor Championships, Claudio placed fifth in the 800m in a season-best 2:13.83, and first as a member of the 4x800m relay. Claudio’s season came to an end at UAlbany’s Purple & Gold Last Chance Meet, where she placed third in the 800m in 2:15.16.
Claudio opened the season at the Penn State Indoor Relays, where she placed seventh in the 500m in 1:17.21. She also placed third as a member of the distance medley relay team that finished in 12:31.38. She ran on two relays at the UAlbany Great Dane Classic, placing third in the distance medley relay and fifth in the 4x400m. At Cornell’s Upstate Challenge, Claudio placed fourth in the 500m in 1:16.70, and second as a member of the 4x400m relay. After placing second again on the 4x400m relay at the Columbia Invitational, Claudio placed fifth as a member of the 4x400m relay at the Millrose Games. Claudio placed fifth in the 500m at the America East Indoor Championships, setting a season-best mark of 1:14.87. She also placed fifth as a member of the 4x800m relay. Claudio ended her season at ECAC Indoor Championships, where she placed 17th in the 500m in 1:15.37, and sixth in the 4x400m relay. In the preliminary round, the team ran 3:44.19, during which Claudio recorded a split of 55.9. Claudio split 55.6 en route to a team finish of 3:48.18 in the finals.
Claudio competed in her first and only 5K of the season at the UAlbany XC Invitational, finishing with a time of 22:45.5.
Claudio tied her season best time in the 400 at the America East Outdoor Championships, after originally running the same time in the first meet of the season. She broke 60 seconds in the open 400 in four outdoor meets, and was just over in one other. Additionally, she competed on three 4x4 relay teams, including the team that ran at ECAC Championships.
At America East Indoor Championships, Claudio finished fourth overall in the 500, running her best time of the season, and was a member of the second place finishing 4x4 relay team. She ran on the first place finishing 4x4 team at the Armory Collegiate Invitational. She ended her season at ECAC Championships, competing on both the distance medley relay and the 4x4 relay. Between open events and relays, Claudio recorded nine top-10 finishes during the indoor season.
Claudio ran her first and only 5K of the season at the UAlbany XC Invitational.
Claudio was a four-year letter-winner in track and field at St. John Villa Academy. She was a four-time All-American in high school, including once as a member of the 4x8 High School Scholastic National Champion team. She was a Staten Island Advance All-Star in 2009 and 2012 for both indoor and outdoor track. She represented Haiti in the 2011 Pan American Summer Games.
Dominique Claudio is the daughter of Edgardo Claudio and Michelle Amato. She has four brothers, John Amato and Edgardo, Lorenzo, and Sergio Claudio, and two sisters, Mariah and Claudia Claudio. She intends to major in pre-health.
