Bellon finished 16th overall at the America East Pre-Conference meet. Her best time came at the Pre-National Invitational, where she finished in 23:22.8 for 6K.
Bellon competed as a member of the UAlbany 4x8 relay team at the Penn Relays, the America East Outdoor Championships, and ECAC Championships. The team placed first overall at America East Championships and sixth at ECAC’s. She ran her season and collegiate best 800 time at America East Championships, earning fifth place overall.

Bellon was a member of two winning distance medley relays during the season, at the Boston University Terrier Classic, and the America East Indoor Championships. She earned two second place finishes in the 800, at the UAlbany Great Dane Classic, and the America East Championships, where she recorded her best time of the season. Additionally, she ran on the second place finishing 4x8 relay at America East Championships. Bellon wrapped up her season with three more relays, two distance medley relays, at the Millrose Games, where the team finished third overall, and at ECAC’s, and a sixth place 4x8 at ECAC’s.
Bellon competed in four races for UAlbany, three of which were 5Ks. Her best performance came in the first meet of the season, where she finished 17th overall at the America East Pre-Conference meet at New Hampshire, covering 5K in 18:22.6. She also ran at the Pre-National Invitational at Louisville, running 6K in 24:39.6.
Bellon was a regular member of UAlbany’s 4x8 relay team, where she competed at Penn Relays, and earned a first place finish at the America East Outdoor Championships and fifth place at ECAC Championships. Additionally at America East Championships, she ran her fastest time in the 800 on the season, finishing fifth overall. She was also a member of the sixth place finishing 4x4 relay team at Princeton’s Larry Ellis Invitational.

Bellon competed on the 4x8 and the distance medley relay teams at the America East Indoor Championships, where both relays finished second overall. She also earned a seventh place finish in the 1,000 at the same meet. She competed in the 800 at the Millrose games, and ended her season running the 1,000 and participating in the distance medley relay at ECAC’s.
Bellon ran her best 5K at the America East Championship, where she finished 21st with a time of 18:08.00. She finished sixth overall in the first meet of the year, where she covered 4K in 14:57.10.
Bellon competed in only three meets for UAlbany during the outdoor season, running the 800 in the season opener in Puerto Rico, and then the distance medley relay at the Florida Relays and the 4x8 at the Texas Relays.

For her efforts on the season, Bellon was awarded America East Top Rookie and All-Conference accolades. She ran the fastest 800 time in the America East, a 2:12.31 which earned her first place at the America East Indoor Championships. She was a member of the 4x8 relay team that finished third at the Millrose Games and first at the conference championships, which helped the Danes win a conference title. Bellon recorded three sub-2:13 times in the 800, at America East Indoor Championships, the NYRR Collegiate Meet at the Armory, and at the UAlbany Great Dane Classic.
Bellon earned a sixth place finish in her first competition as a freshman, running 4K in 14:58.9 at the Monmouth XC Kick-Off. She finished 10th at the UAlbany XC Invitational, in her fastest 5K of the year, helping the squad break a school record for average top-five finishing time. She finished 25th overall at both America East Championships and ECAC Championships.

Bellon was a four-year letter-winner at Saratoga Springs High School in track and field. She helped lead her team to four Secion II Class AA cross country titles. In 2009, she earned Albany Times Union First Team All Star and New York State Sportswriters Association’s Third Team All-State recognition. During her senior year, she was a member of the national champion indoor distance medley relay, and the indoor and outdoor 4xMile relay. She was an Albany Times Union All Star in the 800 and the 4x8 relay, in which she split 2:08.57. She won the Section II Class AA outdoor title in the 800, and went on to break her school record in the event at state qualifiers. Her time of 2:09.93 improved the previous school best of 2:10.74 set in 1988 by U.S. Olympian Cheri Goddard. Bellon proceeded to place eighth in the event at the state meet. Additionally, she ran the anchor leg on the third place finishing 4x8 relay team at states.
Brianne Bellon was born on September 24, 1991 to Ray and Lisa Bellon. She has one sister, Jessica, and is majoring in history.
