New Haven, Conn. - Senior Amanda McPhee shot a two-round score of 158 to lead the UAlbany golf team to a 7th-place finish at the Yale Women's Fall Intercollegiate. The two-day tournament was shortened due to rain on Sunday, but the golfers completed 36 holes on Saturday to complete play.
McPhee carded scores of 79-79 for her two-round total. Jessica Signorelli shot an 84 over the first 18 before carding a team-low 77 in the second round to finish tied for 30th overall. Sophomores Stephanie Klein (82-90-172) and Annemarie Kissane (87-86-173) finished 50th and 51st, respectively. Corrin Conroy recorded a two-round score of 177 (83-94) to round out the UAlbany golfers with a 56th-place individual finish.
Harvard earned the team title with a score of 610, followed by Penn (619) and Boston College (621). Fairleigh Dickinson's Michele Holzwarth took the individual title with a two-round score of 141.
UAlbany will return to action on Oct. 3-4 at the ECAC Championship hosted by William & Mary.
