UAlbany Golf Competes at Bucknell Women's Fall Invitational

Lewisburg, Pa. - Jessica Signorelli finished 16th with a three-round score of 238 to lead UAlbany to an eighth place team finish at the Bucknell Women's Fall Invitational on Saturday and Sunday at the Bucknell Golf Club. Caroline Sweet finished first overall to guide William and Mary to the team title.

            Signorelli shot rounds of 79, 77 and 82 over the two-day tournament. Amanda McPhee finished tied for 26th individually with a two-day score of 243 (75-84-84), while Annemarie Kissane recorded a three-round total of 245 (78-81-86) to finish tied for 30th individually. Corrin Conroy, who was the medalist at last spring's America East Conference Championship, finished tied for 41st, carding a score of 250 (82-81-87). Stephanie Klein rounded out the UAlbany finishers with a three-found score of 259 (84-88-87).

            Sweet paced William and Mary with a two-day total of 220, while teammate Sarah Whitney finished second with a score of 222. Marshall finished second in the team standings with a total of 929, while Columbia (938), Bucknell (948) and Lehigh (950) rounded out the top five teams.

            UAlbany will continue its fall schedule on Saturday, Sept. 19 at the Dartmouth Invitational.
