Rebecca Sanger joined the UAlbany training room in 2016 and will work primarily with the women's basketball team.
Sanger came to UAlbany after two years at the University of Maine as an assistant athletic trainer. She worked with women's ice hockey, women's soccer and softball. She was also an intern athletic trainer at Binghamton University for the 2013-14 season, working with men's and women's cross country and track & field.
Sanger also worked as a graduate assistant athletic trainer at University High School and HealthWorks Rehab and Fitness in Morgantown, West Virginia and an undergraduate athletic training student while at the University of Connecticut.
She holds certifications as an Athletic Trainer Licensure in New York and Maine plus in CPR/AED for the Healthcare Provider from the American Heart Association. She is a member of the National Athletic Trainers' Association and NATABOC.
Sanger graduated from the University of Connecticut in 2011 with a bachelor's degree in education with a concentration in athletic training. She earned her Master's Degree in athletic training at West Virginia University in 2013.
