James Troutman has been part of the UAlbany ticket office since 2014, currently serving as the Ticket Manager.
He was brought back to UAlbany in August 2014 as the graduate assistant in the ticket office. He was made the interim ticket manager in October 2014. His duties include the training of game day employees and student workers, operation of the ticket office and team store and ensure secure and accurate day-to-day reporting and depositing of ticket revenue.
He had previously been with UAlbany as a game day operations intern in the winter of 2011 and 2012 plus was an athletic department intern from January-June 2010.
Before his return to UAlbany, Troutman spent two summers with a collegiate summer league team, the Albany Dutchmen, as an assistant general manager and community outreach coordinator. He also served as a ticket sales representative for the Rochester Red Wings in minor league baseball, a public relations intern for the Rochester Americans Hockey Club in minor league hockey and a game day operations intern for the Rochester Knighthawks in the National Lacrosse League.
Troutman graduated from St. John Fisher College in 2014 with a bachelor's degree in sport management plus a minor in communications and religious studies. He is currently working on his MBA at UAlbany.
