Nate Mason joined UAlbany Athletics in November 2015 as Assistant Athletic Director for Ticket Sales and Strategy. Nate is responsible for supervising all facets of UAlbany ticketing and customer service as it relates to UAlbany athletic box office operations.
Before coming to UAlbany the Guilderland, N.Y. native was the Box Office Manager at Siena College. While with the Saints, Nate established and managed the Fan Relations Office, coordinated with the Athletic Development Office, and generated strategies for the mens & womens basketball ticket sales campaigns. He began at Siena as a Sales Associate, a post he held for one year before being promoted to Box Office Manager.
Prior to working at Siena, Nate was the Director of Community Sales and Service for the Adirondack Phantoms formally of the American Hockey League.
Nate is an active member of both the National Association of Collegiate Marketing Administrators (NACMA) and the National Association of Athletic Tickets Sales and Operations (NAATSO). Nate earned a Bachelor’s Degree from Cazenovia College in Sports Management in 2006 and a Master’s Degree in Athletic Administration from Springfield College in 2009.
Nate spends his free time with his wife Abigail and their two pugs, Walter and Jackson at their home in Altamont, N.Y.
