Semon started his season at the Shamrock Invitational where he placed seventh in the 100m run. He continued his season by placing third at the Northeast Challenge in the 4x100m relay and third at the Spring Classic in he long jump.

Semon opened the season at the Shamrock Invitational, where he placed 19th in the long jump with a mark of 21’-3.5”. He next competed at Connecticut’s Northeast Challenge, where he placed fourth in the long jump in 22’-11.75”, and 12th in the 100m in 11.14. Both marks were wind-aided. He placed second in the 100 and third in the long jump at UAlbany’s Spring Classic, recording wind-aided marks of 10.88 (10.81 (w) in the preliminary round) and 22’-9.75” respectively. He placed second in the long jump at the Capital District Classic in 22’-9.75”. At the America East Outdoor Championships, Semon placed second as a member of the UAlbany 4x100m relay, second in the long jump with a wind-aided 23’-3.25”, and seventh in the 100m in 11.09, after running a season-best 11.01 in the preliminary round. After placing third in the long jump at UAlbany’s Purple & Gold Last Chance Meet with a wind-aided 23’-5.25”, Semon ended his season at IC4A Outdoor Championships, where he placed fifth as a member of the 4x100m relay team, 10th in the long jump in 22’-9”, and 22nd in the 100m in 11.27.

Competing almost exclusively in the long jump during the indoor season, Semon saw action in five meets. He opened at Penn State’s Nittany Lion Challenge, placing third in the long jump with a mark of 21’-11.5”. He set a season-best in the long jump at the Upstate Challenge, where he placed fourth in 22’-11.25”. He also set a season-best in the 60m, placing 15th in 7.14. After the Upstate Challenge, Semon would only compete in the long jump. He jumped 20’-9.25” at the Armory Track Invitational, and then placed sixth at the America East Indoor Championships with a mark of 21’-11.75”. His final meet was the Boston University Last Chance Meet, where he placed eighth with a mark of 21’-2”.
