The University at Albany men's track & field team has won its 12th consecutive America East Indoor Championships. The men scored 205 points over the two-day meet to defeat runner-up UMass Lowell's 129.5 points, and third place Binghamton's 123 points. It is the men's 14th indoor title in the last 15 years.
Seeking their tandem fourth consecutive America East indoor titles, the University at Albany men's and women's track and field teams found themselves in first place after the first day of competition. The men had scored 45 points, ahead of Binghamton by just one half point, and Vermont by nine points. The women held a more commanding lead, with 52 points to Binghamton's 38 and UMass Lowell's 29.
