Baseball Rallies Late At Iona, Wins 8-4

After seeing yet another one of their games cancelled due to inclement weather, the University at Albany (13-30, 3-9 AE) hit the road once again, this time to play a single game at Iona. The Great Danes found themselves in a three-run deficit, but scored seven in the final two innings to win the game 8-4.

Over the weekend, the University at Albany baseball team (13-20, 3-9 AE) split a four-game home-and-home series with Marist. The series included a makeup of the Great Danes' originally scheduled home opener. This week, the Great Danes will host one game against Central Connecticut State before immediately heading on the road to visit Iona the following day.

The University at Albany baseball team (13-20, 3-9 AE) returned home Sunday to complete a home-and-home four-game series with Marist (19-17, 7-5 MAAC). On Saturday, at Marist, UAlbany lost the first game but won the second. The results were flipped for Sunday's doubleheader at University Field, with UAlbany winning the first game and falling in the second.

The University at Albany baseball team (12-19, 3-9 AE) kicked off a four-game series against Marist (18-16, 7-5 MAAC) this weekend, playing the first two games on the road. The Great Danes split the away doubleheader against the Red Foxes, falling 2-1 in the first game, and rallying to win the second game 4-3.

The University at Albany baseball team (11-18, 3-9 AE) will see one of the games it had cancelled earlier this season made up this weekend as part of a home-and-home series against Marist. Originally, UAlbany was scheduled to play a doubleheader at Marist on Saturday, and a single game hosting the Red Foxes on Sunday. Now, Sunday will also feature a doubleheader against Marist, in a make-up of the game lost on April 4, the originally scheduled home opener.

The University at Albany baseball team (11-18, 3-9 AE) was back on the road Wednesday after a short homecoming last weekend, visiting Army (18-21) for a single game. After opening up an eight run lead, the Black Knights held off the Great Danes' furious rally to win the game 13-10.

The University at Albany baseball team (11-17, 3-9 AE) finally played a true home game over the weekend when the team hosted Binghamton for a three-game series. But the homecoming will be short-lived, as the Great Danes are back on the road for a game against Army on Tuesday.

The University at Albany baseball team (11-17, 3-9 AE) finally was able to play a true home game when they hosted Binghamton (16-7, 6-2 AE) for the first game of their fourth America East series this season. After losing yesterday's game, UAlbany was swept by the Bearcats for the series after falling in both of Saturday's tightly-contested games.

After 25 straight games on the road and five delayed home games, the University at Albany baseball team (11-15, 3-7 AE) finally hosted its 2017 home opener, the first game of a three-game series against Binghamton (14-7, 4-2 AE). The Great Danes fell by a final score of 7-2.

Baseball Puts On Offensive Clinic At Manhattan, Wins 16-5

The University at Albany baseball team (11-14, 3-6 AE) snapped a two-game losing streak at the end of a 2-7 stretch Wednesday in the second day of a back-to-back with St. John's and Manhattan. UAlbany defeated Manhattan (8-20, 4-5 MAAC) by a score of 16-5. The Danes' 16 runs are more than they had scored in the previous six games combined, and the highest single-game offensive output of the season.
