Women's lacrosse coach John Battaglino steps down

The University at Albany Athletic Department announced today that Women┐s Lacrosse Head Coach, John Battaglino, has stepped down after seven seasons at the helm of the Great Danes program. Battaglino cited personal reasons for the move. In the interim, UAlbany has promoted Associate Head Coach, Jessica Davos, to the head-coaching position for the remainder of the season. A national search will ensue following the conclusion of the season.

Women's Basketball Improves to 17 in Mid-Major Poll

The University at Albany women's basketball program jumped four places in the Women's Mid-Major Top-25 Tuesday, coming in at #17. It is the team's highest ranking this season.
