US Lacrosse has announced that four players with UAlbany ties have been named to the US indoor roster for the Heritage Cup on October 21st.
After playing four of their first six games of 2017 at home, the University at Albany men's soccer team (4-2-0) will begin its first extended road trip on Wednesday with a visit to Lafayette.
ALBANY, N.Y.—Camryn Dias and Katie MacCallum earn their first career America East Weekly Awards for their performance in the Great Dane's 4-0 win over New Hampshire. Dias, a junior from Hopedale, Massachusetts was named America East Co-Offensive Player of the Week, while MacCallum, a freshman from Edinburgh, Scotland was named America East Rookie of the Week. Camryn Dias was named Co-Offensive Player of the Week after scoring two goals against New Hampshire. Dias scored the first and last goal of the game. The first goal came just 39 seconds into the start. Dias currently has the highest shot percentage shooting .600 and .800 on goal. From the West Division of the America East, Melina Moore from Cal was named co-offensive player of the week as well her goal and assist to defeat Pacific Freshman forward Katie MacCallum was named America East Rookie of the Week for her goal and assist in the win. The goal came from deep in the upper left hand corner of the circle through a couple of New Hampshire defenders. MacCallum currently leads the team in goals (4) and points (10). Up next, the Great Danes travel to Newark, Delaware to face Delaware on Friday, Septemeber 22nd at 6:00 P.M.
